Timothy Tyler paints almost strictly from life, sometimes requiring elaborate props and a lot of travel. He concerns himself with matters of composition, color, and brushwork. Figures, landscapes, and still lifes make up his wide range of subject choices. These paintings may be very small and intimate or grandiose in scale. Tim has traveled, studied, and lived across the western United States, all the while exploring and developing his painting technique.
