Born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1947, Deborah Riddle received formal training in commercial advertising design and illustration. She studied under several outstanding professors, including Dr. William Voss. After years of design and illustration for major corporations in the Midwest and Southwest, she moved to Sacramento, California to assume the position of Art Director of a nationally known commercial interior design firm. Later opportunities arose that allowed Deborah to follow her dream of a fine art career. She developed her artistic style with the use of bold free strokes of color brought in focus by delicate areas of detail all within an impressionistic atmosphere.
